Orlando, Fla. – December 18, 2019 – The Florida Cup Legends 5v5 will be a reunion of great idols representing the clubs that will participate in the sixth edition of the Florida Cup.Representing Corinthians will be Jose Ferreira Neto, Ronaldo Giovanelli, Marcelinho Carioca, André Luiz, Renato Abreu. Palmeiras legends will include Rivaldo, Denilson, Clebao, Zinho and Amaral.

Additional legends as well as the event schedule and format will be announced in the coming days.In the event’s first edition last year, Flamengo’s team which included Zico, Caio Ribeiro and others, was crowned champion by defeating Sao Paulo comprised of Raí, Lugano and Falcão.
The Florida Cup Legends 5v5 matches will take place in an arena set up specifically for the event at Universal Studios Florida. Entry to the Florida Cup Legends 5v5 is already included in the Universal Studios Florida theme park ticket.
FLORIDA CUP
On January 15, Corinthians, current three-time champion of São Paulo and twice champion in the last four editions of Brasileirão, faces Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference Champions New York City FC. The same day, there will be a clash between Palmeiras, the Brazilian champion in 2016 and 2018, and Atlético Nacional, the winningest Colombian champion and 2016 Copa Libertadores Champion. Both matches will be held at Exploria Stadium, home of Orlando City SC and the Orlando Pride, in downtown Orlando.
On January 18, Exploria Stadium will host the Florida Cup 2020 finals. NYCFC faces Palmeiras, while Atlético Nacional plays against Corinthians.
In the break between the two matches, for the second year in a row one of the biggest singers in Brazil: the Bahian muse Ivete Sangalo, will give a live performance for all in attendance. Tickets are available at www.FloridaCup.com.
FAN FEST
For the third consecutive year, the Florida Cup Fan Fest will be held at Universal Studios Florida at the Universal Orlando Resort. The Music Plaza Stage will host a concert by Brazilian legend Ivete Sangalo on January 19th, starting at 7 p.m.
