Manchester City Return To USA For 2024/25 Pre-Season Tour

The four-match tour will be delivered in collaboration with FC Series, a showcase for international clubs with matches across the US.

City will begin their pre-season campaign against Scottish Premier League champions Celtic on 23 July at Kenan Stadium, Chapel Hill. The fixture will be the first time the two teams have come head-to-head since the Champions League group stages in 2016.

New York’s iconic Yankee Stadium will play host to Manchester City’s men’s team as they travel to face AC Milan on 27 July 2024. The event marks 10 years since the two sides last met, with the previous fixture taking place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on the same date during City’s 2014 pre-season tour.

Over the same weekend, fans will also be able to see City’s sister club, New York City FC in action on 28 July 2024 as they take on Querétaro FC in the Leagues Cup.

Pep Guardiola’s side then head to Florida, to face his former club Barcelona at the Camping World Stadium, Orlando on 30 July 2024, before travelling to Columbus, Ohio for their final fixture.

Taking place at the historic Ohio Stadium, with a capacity of over 100,000, City will compete against fellow Premier League side Chelsea on Saturday 3 August 2024.

Peter Laundy, Senior Vice President Partnerships at City Football Group, said: “We are pleased to announce the details of our 2024/25 preseason tour today as we prepare to return to America with an exciting four-match series delivered in collaboration with FC Series this summer.

“Our 2022 pre-season visit to the United States was hugely successful, including our sell-out fixture at Lambeau Field, Green Bay and the Club’s presence, fan base and status continues to grow significantly within the region.

“We can’t wait to play more matches, deliver more unique experiences and opportunities for our fans across the country to enjoy with Manchester City when we return later this year.”

“We are proud and excited to present the US tour for the World Champions as part of the FC Series this summer,” said FC Series CEO Ricardo Villar. “We cannot wait to bring this incredible lineup of matches to fans across the nation and viewers all over the globe.”

Tickets for all matches will go on sale on Wednesday, March 27 at 2:00 p.m. UK time.  Fans can sign up for an exclusive 24-hour presale at FCSeries.com.
